Thanks to the Stick Father I got a ticket for Slayer & Megadeth this Friday night at UIC Pavilion. I'm totally ashamed to admit this but I have never seen either one of these bands live. Much bigger fan of Slayer than I am of Megadeth, still love 'em just never got super into them. Regardless, it's gonna be an insane show. Just saw that Testament will be the opener, sweet!
I'll get the setlist up Saturday and hopefully, depending on beer consumption, some pictures.
Here's Slayer ragin' it on Late Night w/ Fallon last Tuesday. They're pushing some new DVD, they say the name in the clip.
I've only heard a few tracks from the last album, World Painted Blood, but Christ Illusion was pretty sick.
