I'm sure you heard about this family in Florida, they set up camp ten days before black Friday so they could be the first in the store to get the best deals. My first thought was, "Well shit, if they're in line for 10 days they're probably picking up a washer and dryer or maybe like an entire home entertainment system. A monster purchase of some kind." Wrong.
These fucking people waited in line for 2 weeks to buy 5 small items! What exactly is worth waiting 10 days outside of a Best Buy you ask?
-Nook (electronic reader)
-a wireless router
-gift cards
-DVDs
-a label maker
Ok, so maybe not 5 items exactly, but those are very small pick-ups, not worth waiting 10 days in line for. Did they not know Best Buy extended their sales? Did they not know that DVDs are pretty much the same fucking price at 95% of the stores? Or that you can pick up a Best Buy gift card at your local
Wal-greens? Just baffles my mind!
