No seriously, the headline is not a joke. This whole thing went down at an elementary school in Aksu,China when a young girl stopped to tie her shoes as students rushed out to recess. 100 students were running thru a stairwell when a child in front stopped to tie her shoes triggering a pile-up.The accident saw 41 students hospitalised, several of them in a serious condition. The girl who triggered the accident was the most seriously injured and remained in intensive care, though she was out of danger.
It would have been kinda funny to see but I guess you can't laugh in little kids are in serious condition. I hoped the school learned a few lessons. The first one being not to send 100 kids down a narrow stairwell, unless there's a fire.
