Ofelia Lopez and her 14 year old son were pulled over when cops noticed the car did not have it's headlights on early last Friday morning. Officers found the teen behind the wheel and drunk mom in shotgun, Lopez told them she had drank too much so she had her son drive the car. Where were they going that was so important? The liquor store to get more beer. Lopez failed sobriety tests and was cited with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, allowing an unauthorized driver and negligent child abuse. Her son was let go.
