Times are tough out there for a lot of people these days. Some of us will go to great lengths to make buck, but cutting into a live power line for the copper shouldn't be one of them. An Alton, IL man was found naked and screaming in the streets after he cut the wrong wire. The 30yr. old man was trying to steal copper from a power substation when he accidentally cut a 30,000 volt power line. The explosion and jolt was enough to burn off his clothes and send him flying. What's the old saying? It's the amps that'll kill ya!
