This may be one of the stranger posts I've had on here in awhile. An English man, Stephen Mabbutt, discovered about 10 years ago that he could hear the inside of his body. For instance, when he ate a bag of chips the noise was deafening or if he raised his voice his head would rattle. Doctors first diagnosed Mr. Mabbutt with Autophony, but later found the problem was deeper than that. After running tests doctors found that Mabbutt had a pin sized hole in his temporal lobe causing fluid to leak and the noise to intensify. Surgery fixed the problem and Mabbutt can no longer be drowned out by the sound of his beating heart.
