Necessity is in fact the mother of invention. Just ask Trevor Prideaux who was born without his left arm. Prideaux said he could never find a comfortable position to keep his arm in when using the phone. He had to either balance it on his prosthetic or lay it on the table and use speaker phone. Tired of both methods he approached engineers Exeter Mobility Center and they created a cast of Prideaux' Nokia phone and built a new prosthetic limb to fit the specifications. Trevor says talking on the phone is no longer a hassle, "Now when I get call I can either hold my arm up to my ear or put it on speaker phone. I can also take it out if I need to. Texting is also much easier and a lot safer."
