Oregon Trail 2.0

Just the other day Oregon Trail came up in conversation and it made me laugh. The game was classic!! Many hours were spent in the computer lab in high school screwing off and playing Oregon Trail. Ahhhh, the good old days of snake bits and river forging. Kids today are spoiled but they'll be able to enjoy a slightly different take on the classic. Organ Trail is the zombie spin-off featuring the same choose your own adventure style gaming with the addition of more brain eating. Instead of pioneers and covered wagons now you forge your way across hordes of the undead. Organ Trail was created by The Men Who Wear Hats and they released a free version of the game a few days before Halloween 2010 and say it's  been played by more than 600,000 people,
"We get to cheat a little because people already love the idea, but the trick is to make something compelling enough that when that initial delight at all the puns and nostalgia wears off, we have them engaged in the experience."

They plan on releasing a version for the iPad this spring and right now things are still on the production stage.
