Try Arby's New Finger Sandwiches

Arby's is best known for their "5 for 5" deal and most people love their au jus sauce too. I've never been a huge fan of their food but from time to time there's nothing wrong with a little hot ham and cheese on the go. Any future plans of going to Arby's for a quick ham fix have been dashed in fear of getting the dreaded 'Finger Sandwhich'. It's not on the menu and you can't get it at most locations, it just kind of happens. Luck of the draw, like winning the lottery.
Ryan Hart of Jackson, MI hit the jackpot last week after he found the skin of a human finger in his Arby's sandwich. The skin is believed to be off the top part of the finger and big piece too. An eight inch thick slab from the nail to the knuckle somehow ended up in the 14yr. olds sandwich. Hart said he tasted something like rubber and spit the piece from his mouth, “I was about to puke... It was just nasty."

A director from the local Health Department stated that an employee had sliced a portion of her finger off on the meat slicer and left her station to get first aid. Another employee filled her spot and before they realized what happened the finger was sent away in the food.

“Somebody loses a finger, and you keep sending food out the window? I can’t believe that,” Jamie Vail, the boy's mother, said. "They should of shut it down!"

The family had ordered in the drive-thru and were eating in the parking lot when they discovered the finger. The boy's mother was so angry she couldn't bring herself to go inside the store instead she contacted the police who met her at the Health Department. The teen had blood tests performed to check for infections or other bacterias related to the finger, results are still pending. Vail said her son hasn't been able to sleep at night in fear that he's contracted an illness. The family has contacted a lawyer and will most likely being suing the shit out of Arby's. The franchise said that after learning of the "isolated incident" the store was temporarily closed and sanitized but still remains open today and a small amount of food was served from the slicer before they were able to clean it. The Hart family says they won't be eating anymore fast food.
