New Nas Track Featuring Amy Winehouse

Back in 2008 before Amy Winehoue passed away she joined up with rap legend Nas for a little recording session with famed Winehouse producer Salaam Remi. 2 songs came out of the studio that day, the first being 'Like Smoke' which was featured on Winehouse's posthumous album "Lioness: Hidden Treasures" and the second is 'Cherry Wine' featured in the video below. The track comes off of the 10th studio release by Nas entitled 'Life is Good' and displays Winehouse as a projected image against the wall. Nas said he knew producer Remi had been sitting on the track but wasn't sure what the outcome would be, "Yeah, Salaam worked on her last album, and they were working. We don't even have an explanation for how it happened. It was just magic. It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen." The new Nas album is in stores now and another posthumous Winehouse album is set to be released November 12, 'Amy Winehouse at the BBC'. The box set will feature live tracks recorded on tour and also a live DVD companion. It's a shame Amy had to pass so young because the pairing of these two is pretty powerful.
