I've put a lot of different chemicals in my body over the years and at no time did I ever consider huffing something out of a can. Thank god for access to real drugs huh. I still don't understand the appeal of huffing, be it spray paint, household cleaners, or whatever else people come up with. I'll mark that one under 'No Thanks' along with meth and PCP.
Police in Arlington, Texas were called to a drug treatment center after one of the patients had a relapse and decided to amp up the crazy. Two patients told staff members that their third roommate was acting a little weird after they found him naked and trashing the room. Normally, the staff takes care of the problems in-house without the assistance of the cops but this time they needed back-up. A resident advisor decided to call in the fuzz when they found the 18yr. old male hissing, speaking in tongues, trying to eat coins, and attempting to set his mattress on fire. They found that he had been huffing some kind of cleaner. When police arrived they found the young man naked from the waist down with a bed sheet over his head and barking on all fours. Once they realized talking him down wouldn't work officers deployed the tazer and were able to handcuff the suspect. That's when things got fun.
According to the police report the man tried to eat the tazer cords and once he was placed in handcuffs he bent over a desk, spread his butt cheeks and started yelling, "Who wants some?"
During the butthole melee the suspect managed to get his cuffed hands back in front of him and tried to attack the police and staff members. Again, he was taken down and hauled away for a psychiatric evaluation. No one was hurt in the incident and no charges have been filed. Arlington police said that they were more concerned for the man's mental well being and that jail was probably not the right place for him.
