Don't Eat the Gravy Music News

Big news for fans of Daft Punk as word comes out that the duos new album will drop in May, their first studio album in over 8 years. There's not a ton of details about the new release like track listings or even a title at this point but one thing is certain, DP won't be hitting the road in 2013. The groups last live performance was in 2007 at the Wireless Festival in the UK. The French duo have released new music in the past couple of years, see Tron: Legacy soundtrack back in 2010. This will be the groups first release with new label Columbia. Guardian UK has the story

Organizer have announced some of the big name acts that will be hitting the stage at the 2013 Coachella Festival and it's just as diverse as years past. Here's a couple acts:
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Trent Reznor's How to Destroy Angels
Skrillex & Yeasayer collabo Dog Blood
a reunited Stone Roses
Yeah Yeah Yeah's
Lou Reed
Phoenix
Modest Mouse
Nick Cave
......just to name a few. If you're trying to get on-line and snag some tickets just be patient. Tickets for the first weekend are all but sold out as of this morning and the web site frontgatetickets.com says that the site has froze up a few times from people trying to purchase tix. Sounds like if you want to go get your tix now.
