The Hanson Brothers Would Be Proud

For those of you who don't follow the NHL you might not be real familiar with the AHL. It's basically like the farm system for the pros, baseball has A/AA/AAA and hockey has the AHL. I'm a huge fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and their farm team the Rockford Ice Hogs. Hawks fans have seen some great talent come up from that team over the last few years and it looks like we might have a few fighters waiting in the wings. This whole incident took place this past Saturday when the Ice Hogs took on the Grand Rapids Griffins. I didn't see the game live but from what I've been reading it sounds like this was the culmination of a game full of trash talking back and forth between both teams and a few questionable hits. I'm not which is my favorite part, Kyle Beach fighting just about every guy on the ice or the fact that Rockford goalie Carter Hutton fights like a pissed off street brawler. Rockford is wearing the pink jerseys for cancer awareness and Grand Rapids is white. Put on the foil boys!!!!!
