Eazy-E & ODB Will Perform Live @ Rock The Bells

Looks like this whole dead rapper turned hologram thing is really taking off, still not sure how I feel about seeing a hologram on stage but that's just my opinion. It started last year at Coachella during the Dre and Snoop set when they surprised the audience with a hologram performance of 2Pac. It seemed to go over well with fans and it gave the younger generation a chance to see Pac in concert even if it was just a hologram. When I read that story I figured that the hologram would become common place but it didn't really take off. Fast forward to this summer, Rock The Bells hip hop festival has announced that fans will get a chance to see two legends who aren't with us anymore. It's been confirmed that a hologram Eazy-E will perform with Bone Thugs-In-Harmony and a ODB hologram will join the Wu Tang Clan. Like I said, the idea is still a little strange to me but at the end of the show it's just something for the fans to enjoy. One of the founding members of N.W.A, DJ Yella, was asked about the Eazy hologram,

"It's cool that a younger generation will get to experience his music. The hologram is a pretty nice tribute to Eazy and N.W.A."

Rock The Bells kicks off later this summer in September with 4 shows slated, 2 on the west coast and 2 on the east coast. The tour schedule and line-up are listed below:
