Prom Limo Driver Gets Arrested For DUI

Usually during prom season it's the kids who get in trouble for drinking but this year the tables have turned. Thankfully, a couple of alert kids alerted the cops before anything went terribly wrong.
Pictured above is 54yr. old Richard Madison and he used to be limo/party bus driver, stressing the "used to be" part. Madison was hired by some high school kids in Northern Illinois to take them to prom but something didn't seem right on the way to the dance. Some of the kids on the party bus noticed that Madison was driving erratically, just after picking up the students Madison lost control of the bus and swerved into a ditch. A high schooler on the bus said she noticed something wasn't right as soon as the bus departed,

“I had a feeling he was drunk when we first went into the ditch. We went out of the subdivision, but he cut through multiple subdivisions just to get onto the main road and then he hopped over two medians.”
Some of the kids on the bus didn't feel safe and they decided to call their parents to let them know that their driver may be under the influence. Turns out a couple of local off-duty officers were working at the prom and they were told to keep an eye out for the bus. When the drunken Madison arrived he was apprehended by the off-duty cops and later charged with misdemeanor DUI and reckless conduct. Eventually the kids made it to the dance and thank god too,  no one wants to face the wrath of a high school girl being denied the experience of attending her prom.
