It's a sad day in Pawnee, IN after news hit that both Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be leaving "Parks & Rec". The story hit yesterday but as of now there has been no official reason given for the departure. The Onion's AV Club mentions that both actors are very busy with projects outside of the Parks Dept. with Lowe starring in the new National Geographic show "Killing Kennedy" and Jones is developing a new show with Warner Brothers. If you paid attention to the show you know that last season ended with their characters deciding to have a baby together. The last show for Anne Perkins and Chris Trager is slated for the 13th episode of the upcoming season in February during sweeps week. If you ask me I think there should be an entire channel dedicated to Rashida Jones. I don't care what she's doing, there needs to be more of her on TV. Rob Lowe on the other hand will be just fine as long as the Lifetime channel is still on the air. I just hope the new season doesn't jump the shark with these two leaving not to mention the impending birth of Ron Swanson's baby. The show has had a great run and as a big fan I feel the last season got a little off track with some of the story lines. Either way I'll still watch just to see Ron as a daddy.
