Halloween 2013 might be the best Halloween ever just for the fact the General Mills is re-releasing their line of monster cereals. For those keeping score at home the monster cereal line includes Fruity Yummy Mummy, Count Chocula, Boo Berry, Franken Berry, and Fruit Brute. The real story here is that General Mills found it in their hearts to bring back, if only for a moment, the discontinued Yummy Mummy and Fruit Brute. The best part is that all the cereal boxes will be in their original retro form including the original artwork and characters. General Mills has teamed up with Target and they'll carry all 5 original monster cereals as part of a Halloween promotion. Get yours while supplies last!! If you want to pre-order your own special boxes all you have to do is contact General Mills and they will ship them right to your front door. Or you can fight the masses at your local Target store. And by masses I mean people that happen to notice that Fruit Brute is back on the shelves. I think this year for Halloween I'll pass on the whole handing out candy thing and just give out handfuls of Boo Berry while screaming at the children, "Isn't this awesome!?!".
