In Harris County Texas the local police were trying to crack down on the prostitution problem so they set up a sting operation using a female officer. The officer set up in a part of town known for prostitution and arrested any of the "johns" looking to score a quickie. Turns out one of their own enjoys an occasional hooker from time to time. Officers posted across the street observed deputy constable Emmanuel Augustine solicit the undercover officer. The 29yr. old Augustine works for the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Office and it just so happens that branch was part of the sting operation. Looks like someone didn't get the memo. Augustine is facing a misdemeanor charge of soliciting prostitution and was immediately placed on administrative suspension without pay. No comments from the County Police other than there is an internal investigation underway.
