An Oklahoma man is facing murder charges after he took his stepfather out with an atomic wedgie. For those of you not familiar with the art of the 'Wedgie' and it's many forms, the 'Atomic Wedgie' is when you pull the underwear up and over the victims head. It's a tough one to pull off. However, I don't ever remember anyone dying from it.
Police in McCloud, OK arrested 33yr. old Brad Davis on a murder complaint after he attacked his stepfather, 58yr. old Denver Lee St. Clair, on December 21st. Davis told police St. Clair invited him over for drinks and after a few cocktails they began arguing and a fight broke out. Davis smashed his step dad's head and knocked him out. That's when he went in with the finishing move,
"I'd never seen this before, but when we first looked at our victim seeing the waistband of his underwear was around his neck," Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said.
Davis actually used the term 'atomic wedgie' when describing the whole thing to police. The medical examiner said the cause of death was a combination of blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation from the underwear band pulled across his throat. The death has been ruled a homicide. According to police reports Davis had sent a friend a text message saying that he was going to hurt his step dad. Pre-meditated death by wedgie? Sounds pretty hardcore. Maybe he can put that skill to use in prison.
