If you're like me and didn't have a favorite team in the Super Bowl this past weekend you tuned in for the commercials and hoped to see a decent game. Well, it turns out none of those things happened. The commercials fell kind of flat this year and the game itself was a total one sided ass kicking. I watched the whole thing mostly because their wasn't anything else on at the time but according to leading adult entertainment website Pornhub Denver fans gave up on their team on concentrated all their efforts on cranking one out. What's the old saying, if you can't beat 'em, beat your meat. Something like that. According to the free adult video website, Bronco fans pretty much all turned the game off at the same time and all had the same idea, internet porn.
Pictured above is a graph of hits from the Denver and Seattle area before, during and after the game Sunday. Right about the time the game was wrapping up, about 9-ish, PornHub had a huge surge in hits from the Denver area. Looks like fans took out their frustrations with a little internet porn. Sure as hell beat watching that mess. It didn't stop there either, as the graph shows Denver fans rubbed out their frustrations for the next few hours whereas Seattle fans waited till the celebration died down to release all that extra energy. Pornhub logged a 17 percent drop in porn viewing from normal averages in Seattle, while in Denver, there was an 11 percent swell in traffic, much higher than the nation-wide rise of 4 percent during the same time period. As the graph above shows, during the Super Bowl, porn viewing plunged by 51 percent and 61 percent in Denver and Seattle, respectively.
