The Jerky Boys Are Back

I'm a little late on this but it's still worth mentioning. Rolling Stone sat down with John Brennan aka Frank Rizzo aka Sal Rosenberg aka co-founding member of the Jerky Boys. Brennan and buddy Kamal Ahmed changed the prank call game and become a part of comedy history. Johnny B hung up the phone a few years back but has always wanted to do more calls and release new material. He's stayed busy over the years doing voice work on Family Guy. He does Mort Goldman, Horace the bartender, and other random characters. He took crack at podcasting but it just wasn't filling the void. Brennan told Rolling Stone he knows people want more. The internet has kept their spirit alive over the years,
"YouTube has been great exposure. A whole new generation of people is discovering the Jerky Boys."

The chances of an actual Johnny B and Kamal reunion is slim to none but rumor is that Brennan has a ton of unreleased material and has been recording new calls. It's only a matter of time before we hear Frank Rizzo and Jack Tors again. In the meantime, check out this classic Jerky Boys moment when Johnny B and Kamal took over the mic on a New York tour bus.
