Macaulay Culkin's Band Gets Their Own Signature Pizza

In case you hadn't heard yet Macaulay Culkin started a pizza themed cover band awhile back and they seem to be taking off. The bands name is The Pizza Underground and they do covers of Velvet Underground with a pizza twist. Yeah, I don't get it either. They've become big enough to garner an actual headlining tour with multiple UK dates. With their popularity rising it only makes sense that a pizza themed band would get a slice of pizza named after them. East Coast pizza chain Two Boots recently announce they have given the band their own signature slice,
"the pizza boasts kale pesto - because of founding member of the Velvet Underground John Cale - vidalia onions and garlic - because they grow underground - plus plum tomatoes and ricotta. The pizza has been made to celebrate the release of the band's EP on the Daytrotter website"

It doesn't sound awful but it wouldn't be my first choice if I was ordering from Two Boots. According to NME,
The band, who perform a medley of songs which include 'I'm Waiting For Delivery Man', 'Cheese Days', 'I'm Beginning To Eat The Slice', 'All The Pizza Parties' and 'Take A Bite of the Wild Slice', will perform at Concrete in London on May 21.
Concrete is situated in east London, underneath pizza restaurant Pizza East. Gig goers will get free pizza upon their arrival at the gig while supplies last. Scroll down for ticket details.

I'm guessing people show up to see Macaulay Culkin on stage rather than hear a band that does pizza themed covers of classic Velvet Underground songs. Either way, good for him. He seems to have lost the acting bug and is keeping himself busy playing tunes and having fun.
NME has the story
