Best of "Letterkenny" Season 1

If you're not familiar with "Letterkenny Problems" than you're missing out on one of the funniest shorts on the internet. Letterkenny is the creation of Jared Kesso and Jacob Tierney that started out as short YouTube videos making fun on the locals of their hometown, a small farming community located outside of Ontario. The first couple of minute long shorts collected millions of views and the pair decided they were sitting on top of a great idea and decided to take it to TV. Now it's a full blown show airing on Canada's CraveTV. Letterkenny is the first original series commissioned by CraveTV and premiered on that platform on February 7, 2016. The show has its roots in Letterkenny Problems web series. Letterkenny Problems garnered a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Original Fiction Program or Series Created for Digital Media at the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards in 2014. The town of Letterkenny portrayed in the series is fictional, and not based on the actual ghost town in Northeast Ontario. Sitting here in the states I can only hope that Netflix picks it up. It has the same feel as Trailer Park Boys did when it first came out and dare I say is just as good. Seeing that TPB's best episodes are behind them I think Letterkenny Problems could dethrone them as the breakout Canadian hit here in the US.
