It was a definite rager this past Friday night @ UIC. The show started super early and we ended up missing Testament, the opener. As soon as we got inside we stood in line for beer for like half and hour. But we lucked cause we could see the stage and had to watch Megadeth's first 3 songs from there. Megadeth ripped for sure! After the third song Dave Mustaine stopped and apoligized for not saying hello, crowd went nuts.
"You guys paid to hear us play not talk. So we'll shut the fuck up and play."

SLAYER!!!!! What more can I say. I haven't had that much fun at a show in a long time. For a group of old dudes they still bring it. Tom Araya sounded a little rough at parts but overall they killed it. I haven't air guitared that hard in loooong time. The pit was crazy, Reina and I thought about for like 2 seconds. Too old for that shit, people were getting beat down. They encore was by far the best, Raining Blood and Angel of Death.
