Your Studio & You

Years before Matt and Trey from South Park were international stars they were lowly filmmakers fresh out of college. One of their first jobs was given to them by Airplane! director David Zucker who commisioned the pair to make a fake documentary about Universal Studios. The film was to be shown at a party thrown by Seagrams(yes that Seagrams) who at that time had just purchased the studio. In 1995 Matt and Trey were two unknowns who were just trying to get South Park off the ground. Now they found themselves directing Steven Speilberg, James Cameron, and a slew of Universal stars. The film was shot on the back lot at Universal and the entire script was written by Stone and Parker an hour or so before the camera starting rolling. Remember, it's UCS for me!!
