#1 - Session 9

Each year around this time I like to put together a little list of my favorite Halloween/scary movies for you guys to check out. If you've paid attention over the years you've probably noticed I like the gore flicks, lots of stuff from the '80 and a few classics as well. This years list contains some of my favorites, in no particular order. 6 of the 9 movies listed can be viewed in full right here on the page so make sure you turn the lights down low and enjoy the list!!! This first movie is not only one of my favorite scary movies but one of favorites in general. Anytime it's on I'll sit down and watch the whole thing. The very first time I saw this movie I fell in love with it instantly!! From start to finish I was hooked on the story and was trying to figure out the madness inside of Danvers Asylum. "Session 9" came out back in 2001 and doesn't feature a whole lot of star power but it delivers on all fronts. The story revolves around an asbestos crew that has been tasked with cleaning out an abandoned insane asylum that was left empty after it was shut down for inhumane practices years ago. Most of the crew still believes that evil lurks inside the walls but they suck it up and do their job anyway. Through out the movie you slowly descend into madness along with the characters. Are the ghosts of patients past responsible for the crews demise or is there a larger force at play? Watch the full movie below.......
