Ken Jeong's Early Stand-Up Comedy

Before we knew him as Senor Chang on NBC's Community and before he hit the big screen as scene stealing Mr. Chow in Hangover Ken Jeong was working his way up the ladder like any other struggling comedian. Only difference is that Jeong had a medical career to fall back on. The clip below is from the late '90s, early 2000s when he was still a practicing medical doctor blending his love of comedy and his image as a stereotypical Asian doctor. At this point he was still an unknown in the entertainment business but was building a cult following as "The Funniest Doctor in America" and I have to say, he kills at stand-up. This is his spot on the old BET comedy show performing under the name Dr. Ken.....
