New Jagermeister Ad featuring Slayer Guitarist

If you've ever gotten black out drunk then I'm sure at some point you've consumed Jagermeister. That black licorice taste is unmistakable and has been the beverage of choice for ragers everywhere. Fun Fact - It's the #1 selling imported liquor in America and 8th largest-selling premium spirit worldwide. All that success and I can't ever remember seeing any kind of ad campaign......until now. This past weekend while doing some channel surfing I caught the new ad for Jagermeister and realized why I love that booze, it not only gets you completely plastered but it also is the first liquor brand to feature a member of Slayer in it's commercial. Guitarist Kerry King knows his way around a bottle of Jager and has logged a few hours over the years in the party department. The slogan behind the new commercials is a "Stronger Bond",

"Jägermeister has always been consumed socially. This product was originally developed for, and dedicated to, hunters that have deep connections to their craft and each other. The 'Stronger Bond' campaign triggers stories of this kinship and bonding from the brand's deep history and highlights that bond amongst this exceptional group of men," says Michael Volke, member, executive board, Mast-Jägermeister SE.

The group of men that were chosen other than Kerry King are five-time world champion bullfighter Rob Smet, Keyshawn Johnson, SLAYER guitarist Kerry King, Freddie Roach, Mike Lingerfelt, Mister Cartoon, Nathan Fletcher in this compelling creative ad, called "Stronger Bond," aimed at the 21-29 male demographic.
Jägermeister is a strong drink for strong men, with strong bonds. Seven men at the top of their respective crafts were handpicked and brought together to form the ultimate bond. Each of these men in the Jägermeister "Stronger Bond" commercial not only had to embody the untamed edge of Jägermeister, but they also had to be a part of a group whose success relies on their strong bonds with others — one of the foremost social components of the brand.
