#3 - Tokyo Gore Police

I always like to toss in a Japanese flick for these lists because let's face it, they know what they're doing. I mean shit, 95% of major studio horror movie releases over the last ten years have been direct rip-offs or re-makes of old Japanese movies. This year I decided to go straight over the top and pick "Tokyo Gore Police"!! It's not about scary monsters or ghosts that jump out at you but it's about a world set in the not to distant future that's run by a psychotic police force that has no problem with killing and mutilation. In fact, both of those things I just mentioned are relatively common place in this future world. The story centers around Ruka and her mission to destroy homicidal human mutants that have all but taken over. Trust me, these aren't no fucking X-Men mutants either. The reason for picking this flick is for all the gore and murder. You won't find a whole lot of movies that can stand up to the blood and guts factor of this flick. If you can get your hands on this gem I highly recommend spending a few minutes watching it and saying "WTF!?!" Watch the full movie below........
